Set your geometry

Choose the shape and enter dimensions in millimetres. Set return depths and the available corner options to match the intended fabrication. Apply geometry changes before relying on the calculated result.

Choose materials

Select the ACM finish, quality and sheet size from the available catalogue. Where supported, use custom sheet dimensions. Review the stock choice rather than assuming that a previously saved job uses today’s workshop stock.

Bring in artwork

Use Import DXF artwork for a tray, or the artwork import for the selected fascia leg. Check the imported position, scale and orientation in the preview. For a fascia, work with the correct logical leg.

Inspect the flat pattern

Use Fit view and the preview tabs to inspect returns, seams, corners and machining detail. Check that the displayed applied dimensions agree with the intended job.

Keep a version

Save the project before making substantial alternatives. Save As creates a separate portable job so you can retain your earlier design.

Follow the Cohens example

The Cohens case study uses the actual artwork from a completed two-leg fascia. In its Design capture, the rear-machining view intentionally mirrors the lettering. Inspect the intended leg, orientation and applied dimensions before preparing output.
